After reading the enticing description of Ashley Court in Tiverton, I was eager to experience it for myself. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by Nigel and his family, who graciously allowed me to explore the historic house and gardens. the spacious bedroom with a luxurious bathroom was a perfect retreat, and the attention to detail, including my specific breakfast requests, was much appreciated. I enjoyed a delicious vegetarian breakfast while taking in the beautiful garden views, and the peaceful setting provided a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. the nearby Tiverton Castle and Knightshayes were wonderful attractions to visit, with helpful directions from Nigel. Although my stay was brief, I could imagine spending more time relaxing in the tranquil surroundings, possibly even joining one of the yoga retreats held at the property. the convenient location near Exeter International Airport made for easy travel arrangements, and the free private parking was a bonus. Overall, Ashley Court exceeded my expectations with its charming atmosphere, friendly hosts, and comfortable amenities. I look forward to the possibility of returning for a longer stay and exploring more of the gardens and books on display. It was truly a delightful experience that I would highly recommend to fellow travelers looking for a peaceful and picturesque retreat in the countryside.
